What is the difference between private preschool/TK and public TK?

Private Preschool/TK (Curious Explorers Academy): Smaller class sizes, lower ratios, individualized attention, flexible schedules, enriched curriculum, consistent teachers year-round, and a whole-child approach that focuses on social–emotional growth as well as academics. Families can choose the environment, teaching style, and schedule that best fit their child.

Public TK: Follows the public school calendar and curriculum standards, typically has larger class sizes and higher ratios, limited schedule flexibility (school hours only), and placement is based on district age requirements and enrollment availability.
What ages do you accept?

We welcome children ages 2–5 years old, depending on program availability and readiness requirements.
What are your hours of operation?
Our regular hours are Monday–Friday 7:00am-5:30pm
Do you offer full-time and part-time schedules?
Yes. Families can choose from full-day, half-day, or part-week schedules, based on openings.
What curriculum do you use?
We use a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum focused on social-emotional learning, early literacy, math foundations, creative arts, motor development, and hands-on exploration.
Are meals and snacks provided?
We provide healthy snacks daily. Lunches come from home
Is the staff CPR and First Aid certified?
Yes. All staff members maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications and receive ongoing training in child development, safety, and classroom management.

What is your tuition and registration process?
